Planning - Bridal Hair Accessories Wedding hair accessories are important decision for the perfect bride. If you’ve decided on pairing a traditional wedding veil with a lovely tiara, here are some tips to help you select the perfect crowning glory for your perfect day: * Consider the overall look you want to achieve. Are you going for the classic elegant look, the innocent princess bride, or a contemporary modern look that’s both creative and adventurous? Your overall look should be consistent with the theme and motif of your wedding. * Think of your wedding day hairstyle. Traditional bridal hairstyles favor the elegant bun or a lavish upswept style. Some brides with short hair though, may not like wearing hair extensions to achieve that regal look. That doesn’t mean however, they can’t wear a tiara. Tiaras can be combs or bands so you can just slide it in front of your upswept hairstyle or just wear it like a plain band * Consider your wedding dress' design. The bridal tiaras should compliment the brides natural look and match the design of her wedding dress. Elegantly simple dresses can go well with pearl tiaras, for example. But if your dress is more like a fairy-tale princess’ gown, the classic rhinestones in silver tiara may be more appropriate. * Think of the wedding veil. Are you wearing one or not? Not all brides like to wear a wedding veil. The presence or absence of a veil on the bride’s head plays on the choice of the perfect tiara. For those who’d wear one, the tiara is part of a duo headpiece; for those who are not wearing one, the tiara will be the lone crown jewel. |
